Cookies
To some extent the internet web pages use “cookies”. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies help us to make our website more user friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer and stored in your browser.
Most of the cookies used by us are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal equipment until you erase them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser at your next visit.
You can adjust your browser settings to receive a message every time a cookie is installed on your computer, to exclude them in general or in specific circumstances and to automatically erase cookies when you close down the browser. Disabling cookies could interfere with your ability to interact with this website.
As far as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these will be treated separately in this privacy policy.

Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These data are not combined with other data sources. In the case of server log files, information about the mobile device you are using is stored as a log file on a server. Our website provider logs the access time and frequency, which website and link brought you to the page, which browser and which IP address you are using, as well as the volume of data sent. The sole purpose of this process is to improve our website and service. We may only retroactively access server log files if this is permitted by law due to illegal actions, pursuant to Article 6 (1) f) GDPR.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing operations undertaken with your consent prior to the withdrawal of such consent.
The data entered in the contact form will be held by us until you ask us to erase them, you withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose for which data have been stored no longer applies (e.g. after finally processing your inquiry). Mandatory legal provisions – including but not limited to retention periods – remain unaffected.

Raffles
The personal data you send to us as part of participation in a raffle will be used exclusively for the purpose of processing the raffle (determination, notification, dispatch of the prize). After the raffle ends and the winners are announced, the data of the participants will be deleted.

Evaluation form
If you give us your opinion about our selection procedure or employment at Steinhaus GmbH via the evaluation form, this data will be evaluated and stored by us for the purpose of improving the process. Providing your e-mail address is voluntary. It will only be used to make contact, as you have requested. We shall not pass on these data without your consent. Pursuant to Article 7 (3) GDPR, you may revoke your consent with future effect and, pursuant to Article 21 GDPR, object to the future processing of the data at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing operations undertaken with your consent prior to the withdrawal of such consent. In addition, you have the right, pursuant to Article 15 GDPR, to receive information about which of your data is processed by us after using the evaluation portal. Pursuant to Article 16 DSGVO you may request the completion or rectification of the incorrect data concerning you. Furthermore, you have the right to erasure pursuant to Article 17 GDPR or to restriction of data processing pursuant to Article 18 GDPR. Finally, you can request that the relevant data may be transmitted by us to other data controllers in accordance with Article 20 GDPR. Furthermore, you have the right under Article 77 GDPR to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The data which you input into the evaluation form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your evaluation has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – including but not limited to retention periods – remain unaffected. Like our other pages, the evaluation portal also uses cookies, which are stored on your terminal device, like PC, laptop or smartphone with the help of the browser. This is for ease of use, as you will be recognised as a user when you reopen the page.

If you would like to receive the newsletter which is offered on the website, we will need an e-mail address as well as information which enables us to check that you are the authorised account holder of the e-mail address and have agreed to receive the newsletter. Any other data are provided on a voluntary basis only. We use these data exclusively for the purpose of sending the requested information and do not share such information with third parties.
Data entered in the newsletter subscription form are processed exclusively with your consent (Article 6 (1) a) GDPR). You may withdraw at any time the consent you have given to the storage of your data and the use of your data for the purpose of the sending the newsletter by, for example, clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. 6. Analytics tools and advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses “Cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable the analysis of your website use. The information about the way you use this website created by the cookie is sent to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If the IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address in Member States of the European Union or in other state parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to and truncated on a Google server in the USA. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator to evaluate the way you use the website, to collate reports on website activities and to provide the website operator other services related to website and internet use. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google. You can change your browser settings to prevent cookies from being stored; however, we draw your attention to the fact that, in these circumstances, you may find that you are unable to make full use of functions on the website. You can also prevent the data (including your IP address) relating to your use of the website which is captured by the cookie being sent to or processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in from the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

IP anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. In this manner, your IP address is first shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator to evaluate the way you use the website, to collate reports on website activities and to provide the website operator other services related to website and internet use. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google.

Objection to data collection

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is stored which prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics. More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

We use Google Web Fonts in the interest of providing an interesting online website presentation. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) f) GDPR. If your browser does not support Web Fonts, your computer will use a standard font. If you click the Facebook “Like button” while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link to the contents of our pages on your Facebook profile. Thus, Facebook can match your visit of our pages to your user account.
